Business Analyst

Location: Remote
Salary: £36,500 to £46,500 per annum
Contract Type: 12 months fixed term
Position Type: Full Time 35 hours per week

VoiceAbility are currently working through a significant period of process and systems improvement; therefore, we are recruiting for a Business Analyst to join the team.

The Business Analyst will be central to this programme, mapping and documenting the current state (“as is”) of VoiceAbility’s key operational processes and defining target state (“to be”) models that reflect the capabilities of our systems and the organisations strategic direction.

You will work across service delivery, operations, finance, HR and technology teams. The post holder will identify inefficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities, translating these into clear and actionable requirements to support system configuration, process redesign and continuous improvement.

About you

You will have demonstrable experience in a Business Analyst or process improvement role, experience producing as-is and to-be process maps using recognised notation (e.g. BPMN, swimlane). We are looking for someone who is qualified as a Business Analyst (e.g. BCS, IIBA or CBAP) or has equivalent CPD.

You will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and patterns, excellent process documentation skills and can produce outputs that are clear and accessible to non-technical audiences.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

When you need to travel for work, expenses will be paid (mileage or public transport costs).  

VoiceAbility offers the usual regular manager one to ones, Staff forums and communities of practice depending on role. Team meetings with a mix of virtual and in person approach.
